stubbed toes and mud pies

Again a big thank you 😊

A change of subject, apologies.
Extremely tired here because I didn't sleep for long last night.

I am genuinely very interested in mushrooms of all kinds. I have always believed mushrooms to be healing. So marking this conversation and and your link. To take into my head tomorrow. If nothing crops up.

Good night my friend 😴

By the way. I have hopes my broad beans will start growing soon.
I do believe I have seen this mushroom before, in a local woodland .

Thanks for this link.

Thank you for sharing 😃

Could these mushrooms grow in clay soils?
I have huge hedge like tree growing at the top of my garden. Maybe something like that would be okay
I got a warning when I tried to get into your site 🤔
Then it read as advanced Why on earth would this happen 😕

things change, my web hosting people don't monitor it so when stuff happens i have to figure it out and if i'm busy with other things i'm not getting around to the figuring out for some days or weeks.

it's not a dangerous situation error message because there's no private information being exchanged as far as i'm concerned and i don't use cookies for the website at all.

the idea that information must be encrypted is overblown if you're running a simple website and the encryption is overhead and extra traffic on the internet.

Mom mentioned this morning that she wanted to move some windchimes.

I said, "Yes, Master!"

um, well, ok, when? now? oy... ok, so i got my work pants on and some gloves and just went out and pulled the windchimes and pole right out of the ground and brought it up to where she wanted to move it. they were pretty big windchimes (triangles made out of plate steel) (three of them) and so i knew when she said that she wanted to move it that i didn't want it over on this side of things because i didn't want to hear it clanging if it got windy.

then got the wheelbarrow to haul the big chunk of cement and rocks with a hole in it for the pipe from the windchimes and moved the big chunk. then went back for all the filler she wants to put around the big chunk to prop things up even more.

i wasn't planning on doing much since i'd been mostly cleaned up and didn't want to get grubby again but i got it done and she's got what she wanted done too.

needed a new mousie for the computer as my old one was giving out after only six weeks. yes, i bought a cheap one because i knew i was going to get a better one as soon as i could get some research done on what i really wanted to get or at least had some idea of what was available out there.

this past weekend we were going into town anyways so before going to a friend's place to play cards we hit up the computer gadget store and they happened to have one on sale for half price and i was ok with spending $85 for a mouse with optical switches. I hope i can get two or three years out of this new one. we'll see how it goes.

if you wanna look it up on-line it is a Razer Deathadder v3 Pro and yes i got it solely because of the name. well, not really, i just wanted optical switches and a form factor that fit my hand. as it turns out if i rest my hand on the table with zero tension it happens to fit over this mouse with me not doing anything at all with my fingers. just the resting position. so it is very light and comfortable. the only downside is the built-in lithium ion battery that will need to be recharged from time to time but even if it craps out this wireless mouse can also be run via the attached USB cable. so it is pretty much covered.

this is not the most current version of this mouse and i'm quite ok with that - maybe by the time i'm ready for another one they'll have stepped up the product line again, but like i said, we'll see. i just know that i'm very glad to no longer having to deal with double clicks that weren't working and dragging and dropping that weren't dragging and then i'd have clicks happening halfway on things i didn't even want to click and ...

i did have fun Friday trying to fix one of the spare mice i had that wasn't working as well as it should have been. i learned how to take it apart and how to take the switch apart and how to take the bit of metal spring out of the switch and to rebend it a bit more to get the spring back, but then getting it back in place was too hard for me to do so even if i got one of two switches back to functional i could not get the other switch repaired and since i knew i was going to go get a new one the next day it was a fun exercise but didn't want to waste any more time on it...

there was the other way of fixing the mouse which would have involved me getting the soldering iron out and removing the non-functional one and replacing it with a spare from another mouse but i didn't feel like doing that either. ordering new switches is also a possibility. don't want to do that though. got a mouse that works, they can all go to the electronics recycling place next time we drop stuff off.

I would dread to even attempt to use a computer again.
Those thing are ruddy nightmarish. Phones are bad enough
