Cheap "rabbit ears" and 25 channels. Pity there isn't something good to watch. PBS is usually a good choice, but I don't usually watch serials. Read most of the books though.

It was O.K but didn't seem season premier quality. But it grew on me as I learned why they did it the way they did. The chopped in hypothetical death faking scenes were actually a way of including Sherlock fans. Shortly after the 2nd season ended the internet was filled with ways Sherlock could have survived, the shows writers took some of their favorites and included them in the movie. The reason they focused on John was because the show is really depicted in Johns eyes and they wanted to keep it that way so that the audience feels that they are included. Something else I thought was cool was Sherlock's parents were played by his (Benedict Cumberland) real parents. Also Watson's fiancee is played by his(Martin freeman) real Wife.
