Steve, I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about getting that purse!!!! When I first got chickens, I went a little crazy! Thankfully, I came to my senses, before being seen with that little number!
A friend brought over a bunch of carved and not carved pumpkins, yesterday. Treat time!!!!

It's getting to be a hard time of year to expect much egg production. Egg laying is closely tied to day length and days are almost at their shortest.

My guys LOVE pumpkin but I do have to break it in half for them. They eat it down to nearly nothing.

I bought a warehouse bin of pumpkins from our farmers market at the end of the season so they'll have pumpkin ALL winter. Us too
