Update on the little kitten
Finally I have had contact from a lovely lady, she's willing to help this little treasure. It's been really touch and go here. I never thought I would ever see the end of this dark tunnel.
As a tiny kitten when my dog was still with me we both saw this baby hanging onto a window sill in an upstairs flat.
In this accommodation they had two large dogs one of them came at me and went to attack my dog which I quickly picked up.
Had their neighbour not intervened. We could have both landed up dead.
Somehow this kitten found me. I seriously think Oliver had something to do with this. Because he's given up his kennel for this cat, that I call Clarry.
The people that neglected him now has another dog. They never walk them and judging from the condition of Clarry I doubt they even feed them very well
Clarry was all bones when he got here.
I'm ashamed too admit I tried to chase him off at first because of Oliver not being able to rest or eat his meals. But as I attempted this Oliver suddenly appeared and the kitten ran to him rubbing around him as if Oliver was it's mother.
It was then a realised that Oliver cared very much about his survival.
As said above we have now found support.
So after his meal this morning I have taken inside until this sweet lady arrives at around 5pm.
He's purring loudly now after being terrified.
If I wasn't so old and frail I would keep him with me.
He fast becoming a little podge. A far cry from the bones and fur that came to me.
As
@digitS' suggested I add vegetables to their food, carrots squash or sweet potato. They love chicken but I try to give them turkey as much as possible. So it's turkey mince for supper before he leaves.
Please wish him luck on being re-homed .
Tonight he is going into a foster home
