Love when the magnolias start blooming! They make the house smell so good, & such a beautiful flower & tree!

Very very happy about the canopy of beautiful green leaves filling in the oaks, now maybe I'll be able to just relax in the shade & no more raking leaves again until winter! Woohoo

Arbequina is just one of the varieties. It would be much easier in Bayou Country though.

So happy to see your olives outside. In the ground, however, seems the best way to be growing them. I like ccheek's yard.

OMG! I never knew magnolias grew that big. What a beautiful and fragrant display they would make in the yard. Lucky ccheek!

Yes, LOTS of rake time! That's the not fun part, BUT, I surely wouldn't want to not have the trees, so I can't really complain!
They sure do make a huge difference in the summer here!
It's seems @ 20 degrees hotter in my front yard than my back yard, I don't think I'd wanna be outside without them!

First time trying an olive tree, didn't even know they would grow here! I saw this little guy all alone on clearance for $3.00, so I just had to grab him & give it a try! So far so good, he actually looks a little better now that he's found a home hahaha
I hope he thrives here!
