"At the table, at the table, thistlebloom, not on the table." I just heard this reportedly "old saying" this morning at breakfast. Ugly babies grow up to be beautiful young people so says a nurse who was talking to a mother about her "ugly baby". Cone head and hair from the top of her head to her fingertips and down her back.

That is really COOL! You have GOT to share all about how baby parrots act. I know my chicks have WAY more energy than the adults and react to EVERYTHING. It'd be funny if they are like puppies and just gogogo till they drop and sleep.

The eggs hatch pretty far a part, so big size difference between babies. The 1st hatched 7 days before others, I almost threw out eggs, but mom wouldn't let me near them. They are not like chicken or duck chicks these are blind naked and helpless. Not sure how they would taste but locale bird store sells them for $475 so they are safe from table like Harvey my rabbit

Wow! Baby parrots! I cant wait to see how they grow up!...
We took in several orphaned goose eggs (we found the mother dead beside her nest) and so far, two have hatched. One is beautiful and fluffy and one is almost totally bald. He seems healthy, just bald. The poor little guy is so ugly, I don't even have a picture of him... Here's the cute baby... Anyone know why one would be born without feathers?
