As some of you may remember, earlier this year I made a trellis out of PVC pipe.

This year I grew Sunflowers and Morning Glories on it.

I wasn't really happy with the way it looked this year. So... a couple weeks ago I found these great "Pandora Vines."

The hope is that they will cover the trellis, and make beautiful pink trumpets most of the year.

I love your winding path...is that thyme carpetting it?

My grandmother had pandora vine a couple years ago. I could not remember the name. Thanks for jogging my memory! It is unusual and very lovely.

Gotta love pvc! What a great use for it.

I wish you much luck with the new pink vine. Perennial!?

I still love the free turf grass you got... it looks so real!!!!

I think the morning glory and sunflowers were still lovely. ;)

The path is artificial turf.

It used to be flagstone with dichondra between the stones,

But with the new higher water rates, I took out the dichondra and the flagstones and put in artificial turf.

Yes it is a Perennial, and is suppose to bloom from spring to frost. We will see. I hope it will anyhow. I think the Hummingbirds will like the trumpet flowers.

I like your trellis.

If you ever do make more, can I suggest using the gray PVC conduit instead of water pipe. It is made for exposure to the sun and will hold up much better!

Just a thought!

I really like what you have done. It makes it look very nice and inviting to be in your yard.
This is my chicken coop compound and I have built a wooden arbor over it and I would like to start growing some flowering vines to grow up it. Thanks for your pictures.

This is what it looked like before I put the arbor up.
