Happy to report Rachel kindled on the 25th of this month. 8 healthy kits. Not bad for her first time. I was happy to see a blue and now that I was able to open the nest without chilling them I seem to also have several broken blues among the expected blacks and broken blacks. I named the pair Reuben and Rachel after the old song. Reuben is broken black and Rachel a black self. Both are purebred Rex. Reuben is one of the biggest Rex bucks I ever saw.
