I Purchased 70 bags of this on clearance for less than $30 bucks. I will add it this fall with all the leaves and compost from the compost pile, and till it in. there is a big change from garden 2011 to garden 2012 from adding soil amendments, so 2013 should be even better. Also I have been brewing compost tea and adding it every couple weeks, I think it makes a big difference in our garden.

Congratulations! That is tremendous. I've used a similar product where the manure has not totally composted, which is not great. Putting it on this fall and letting it work over winter should be perfect.

I'm envious.

Steal or steer? . . . how do they know that a heifer didn't get into that lot?

Lowe's has some composted manure with a guaranteed NPK rating. It may not be different than what you've got Collector, and 3 times the price, but that NPK rating is worth something!

I think you'd better go and, at least, look at it. You owe yourself that much. . .
