Well now!!!

It didnt have many miles on it last week. I have driven it pretty hard this week. We took it back to the dealership for fog lights and the remote start today. Monty said it turned over 500 miles on our way up there and his heart broke a little. We have never owned a brand new car before.

One nice thing is that new cars can last a LOT longer than even those 10yo models. Did you catch the 2017 Lexus ad, where the wife is sitting in her new car and asks, "Why are there so many miles on it?"
Happy driving! Sweets for the sweet.

congrats on the new Subie!

i'm on my 2nd (2014) & if you count between me & dh we've had 4 now. the last one (2004) i had for nearly 9 years before i got into an accident where someone hit me from behind & got pushed into the person in front of me. i can't seem to watch one of the Subie commercials where they show the teen getting into an accident because of that. but grateful i had one when it happened.

just a note if yours has traction control, you might want to try turning it off when you have bad weather. experiment with it on & off to see which you prefer, do this in a wide space like an un-plowed parking lot with few cars around. i find traction control seems to negate the use of the AWD. my old one never had traction control & handled better than the newer one. think it could be because the older car was also heavier & didn't have that feature.
