Maybe they tire of the irresponsible owners who leave the poop piles everywhere. Recently I was at a hospital with my mother for a week and the large strip of grass between the hospital and the parking lot was literally covered~every inch~with dried up dog feces. All the same size and type, so you know it's the same dog doing it...who does such a thing??????

I'm betting it was the little Pomeranian "therapy dog" they brought to Mom's room, which had no interest at all in humans, so don't know how much therapy it was supposed to provide. Then one has to traipse through its doggy land mines on the way to the parking lot...ICK.

You have to pick up after your dog here it is the law. I have seen someone not pick up and several people yell at them. Almost everyone believes it to be a good law.

Decision was probably made by someone who doesn't know trees.

FINALLY made my last cucumbers into sweet pickles today. NOT the best job bc I didnt really pack well, BUT all 7 quarts are cooling!!!! :weee:weee:weee
    ALL withOUT any salt.
RotoRooter came out again to clear the leach field drain AND next week the plumber is rerouting the pipes from the sink and the washer, to the septic.
EVEN SO, I have about 8 bleach loads to do before this happens, so....great day! :D
SOON, like this weekend, DH has promised to read the instructions for my "brand new, Not yet unpacked pressure canner", and we start processing pumpkins.
That will also be a happy day.:celebrate

Btw, I have been replacing my rusting screw tops, and the old ones go into the recycle metal trash can in the tool shed until it's full.

I just had plumper here, he had to tie washing machine to drain 8 feet away $950. The washing machine was draining into toilet. board of health inspector had a problem with that. Come on how could dirty laundry water be worse then whats normally flushed down toilet ? I am still a little angry over it
