Grapes! Ball now makes 1/2 gallon jars. ONE of these days all of my canned and frozen grapes (2014) will become wine...one of these days...

Put up 15qts of potatoes, 4pts of corn and a case of little jelly jars of peach jam.
Going to try apple marmalade later this week.

Wow! Youin's in a blaze of canning now! 
I think everyone is feeling fall coming on and are jamming everything they can in a jar...that's how I felt. The season...it grows long in the tooth... 
Right now, as I come in and out the back porch into the storage room, I get to see all those shelves full and I get to smile about the bulk of the work being done on food for the winter. It's a good feeling, ain't it?

Pears before processing into 1/2 pints with a light syrup.
This is the 2nd buckets of grapes. I will fill 12 more of these before I'm done. We are Swimming in grapes but I've gotta get them all done this week!

@ducks4you what will you do with ALL those grapes? Are the concord? DH planted a Pink Catawba which has a nice big crop this summer. Need to do something with them. To many just for eating.
