What are You Eating from the Garden?

Since the zucchini has gone nuts we are eating it .... tonight we grilled with olive oil and seasoned salt. Then I made TWO loaves of chocolate Zucchini bread, YUM

Nuthin' yet. I was a month late getting anything in and the store bought "dirt" was more like forest bark than anything. Luckily now the leaves on stuff are getting large enough to hold some moisture in that "dirt" rather than running thru it like a sieve.

Yeah, I got a bag of "garden soil" for a container. Then I got a potting mix With both I thought I'd need to compost it to get something usable. There used to be decent ones out there but the ones I've seen lately have been mostly shredded bark.

Lots of green beans despite them being damaged by bean beetles. I may try canning some.

We had our first zucchini, yellow squash & sausage last night. Gooood.
