What Can You Do, with a ripe tomato?

Well Steve, I guess I'm stuck in the 1950's because I love and make stuffed peppers all the time. I like them with grass fed beef, brown rice, and quinoa. Of course they have to be the pretty ones like the red or orange peppers instead of the green ones. Even though I pay twice as much for them.

Of course, broth and some kind of cheese.

But, what happens if some kind of event occurs and my peppers end up like this?

Mix them in with the other ingredients (I add other things such as onion) and stuff into another pepper, a tomato, or straight into your oral cavity, chew, swallow, and enjoy.

What kind of "event" could have occurred, Steve? Tornado? Terrible accident with the blender? Ninja practice?

unfortunately never paid attention, everything was in her head, never wrote them down.

Now let that be a lesson, I hope you have documented all of your great recipes. ;)

My mom does that too. Dh has tried to replicate her spaghetti sauce and German potato salad, with her 'approximate' this and pinch of that. It's never quite the same. I guess that's what makes them so special.
