What did you pick today?

At our house it was figs and the first blackberries. The latter was yummy made into a berry cobbler (also used raspberries and blueberries from the store).

We picked some blackberries today too!

As well as tomatoes, carrots, snap peas, artichokes, turnip greens, radishes and a bunch of herbs.

Our blackberries aren't ripe until the end of August.

I got some beets, scallions, and strawberries today...115 of them! We made more ice cream with some of them, and froze the rest.

We are picking Zukes, Squash. Cukes, and a few tomato's daily.

Sounds yummy! We can't do a veggie garden this year so I will have to enjoy hearing about what you all are getting!

Beth, is there a farmer's market in your area? If you can't eat your own freshly picked produce, the next best thing is to eat someone elses!
