What Is Going On With My Pear Trees ?

I am thinking orchard bad idea. Apple trees look like they should be put out of their misery. Now something is going on with my pears both Asian and Europe. Black that seems to start at edge of leaf.

Yikes.I don't have pears and have no idea what's going on with yours.
Did you dormant spray with anything this year?

Unfortunately pears are apparently susceptible to lots of diseases.

I'd wait a while. Sometimes stuff affects the leaves but the fruit is ok. This happened to me with my peach and nectarine. The got peach leaf curl so bad they looked ugly! But so far the fruit appears to be normal and ok.

I had a pear tree once for just a couple years and a couple of the leaves looked like that. Pears were fine. Decided we really didn't like pears that much so I sold it and planted my dwarf avocado tree instead. Now, that we love.

A ripped juicy pear They have to be ripe or they are very hard.
