Born this day in 1936, his singing inspired this guy ... who was in the band in 5th and 6th grade but choir class throughout those years and until his voice changed in the 8th ... There went Steve's chance to sing like Roy Orbison .

Thinking of @Ridgerunner there in the Bayous with this song and missing him.
