When I was 3-4, we lived with my grandmother. Not Grandmother Pearl but the grandmother known as Goldie. She was a person who seemed to me to be gardening all the time. I would wander around her garden, often by myself. These flowers fascinated me and I came to associate them with her. Long after she passed away and as an 18 year old young guy, I visited where Grandmother Goldie lived about the time that I was born. Some her flowers were still growing there including Foxglove. These have just started this week blooming in my garden:

As a child, I would stand and look up into the "gloves."
