WHY talk about an Air Fry Toaster Oven on the Herbs Forum?

It could have been the brand and the features. Seems that the Emeril that I bought my DD has all of the features that she wants, and she uses it several times/week for air frying french fries, cooking chicken breasts (for lunch,) and she loves that you set a timer, which turns off when done--no burning.
She hasn't used ALL of the features, but her only problem is how to clean it!
Not all air fryers are the same, not all cooks run their kitchens the same way.
I wanted to give her a Better toaster, with a lot of features.
She said that it justifies the counter space.

Packaged up most of the banana peppers this morning. Still have two Large red ones--which get as hot as Any hot pepper, I KNOW bc I have burned my mouth on one!!--not dry enough to store, yet.
I will be putting the dehydrator out on the porch tomorrow to tackle the red and green jalepanoes.

The bold are the features that DD's has been constantly using. She also broils and reheats, and it does Great reheating pizza so it doesn't taste soggy.
She treats it as a 2nd oven, so that she can make fries in the air fryer, while cooking pork, for instance in the regular oven. Two racks cooking in a regular oven sometimes interfere with each other, like cooking two racks of bacon, or two racks of cookies. She said the air fryer eliminates this problem.
She particularly likes that you set a timer and the machine turns itself off. Seems like every machine should do that, but who has gone back inside in the morning bc they weren't sure the coffeemaker was off?
(ME, I have to go back and check so that the outside spigot with a hose to the water tank is off!)

Ok. So I have this:

wrapped up to give to my eldest daughter, who has become quite the chef in the last few years. She has a "burning only" toaster, REALLY a fire hazard, and wanted a replacement. I found her this. The only reason I didn't buy the bigger one is space.
The REASON for this one, besides good quality, is that it is ALSO a dehydrator.
I used to have 2 dedicated dehydrators, YOU know, the ones with the stacking trays. One died, but I still used the other one this year and dehydrated my sweet pepper and jalepano harvest with it.
DD Really likes to use fresh herbs. I thought I would plant her some sage, thyme, certainly "grows like a weed" basil, which I can grab a bunch of my one and stuff them in the ground and watch them spread. Those herbs that I have dehydrated I think keep well in canning jars and still taste pretty good. Plus, I have 4 basil plants on top of my fridge that FINALLY decided to sprout up and reach for the light, and I could give her a couple of them, if they make it through the winter.
Does anybody have any experience with this machine for dehydrating?

I do all of my summer baking in a toaster oven out on the porch, and I had an air fryer for a few months, but happily chucked it in the trash. (No fault of the air fryer....it just almost gave me a concussion falling off a shelf one day). Decided I wasn't going to replace it, because https://besttoasterovenguides.com counter space is at a premium here and I'd rather have the toaster oven.

I did not know you could dehydrate in an air fryer...I have heard of dehydrating herbs in the microwave though. I have a regular dehydrator for my herbs and produce and to make yogurt in and proof bread. Lmk how the convection oven/air fryers work though...I might invest in one when my toaster oven dies!
