According to the commercials, then that would be Jesse. Not bad... ;)

I've been making yogurt at home for awhile now, but just learned that Greek yogurt is one more easy step--straining out the whey with cheesecloth. Gonna have to try that.

I thought there might be more to it than that!

Waay, Journey? Whey? That's it, huh?

I understand that as an ingredient, this stuff is supposed to be exotically useful. (exotically is a word - right?)

I tried to have DW trim my hair after learning my barber was hospitalized. She said that if she did, I could expect to come out of it looking like a marmot.

I went off to a barbershop.

By the way, I spoke to my regular barber's friend and she says that her friend has had continuing problems in recent months, hospitalized more than once, but is now doing better. I will send her a card.

Gyro? I like gyros! Doesn't everyone?

Recipe to make yogurt? Please

Question, went on line, do you buy special starter or any unflavored yogurt with live bacteria work?

Fresh whole milk or store bought or 2%?

A marmot!

Steve, tell your wife it's really not hard at all, I know this because I cut my hubbies hair.

You might not appreciate looking like Kojak though.

Baked chicken:
Chicken pieces-breast, thighs or whatever you like. Place them on foil lined cookie sheet.
Smear with Greek yogurt.
Sprinkle liberally with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees until done.

I can't think of any cooking I have ever done with yogurt. About the most exotic thing I've done is mix it into lots of chopped fruit, both cooked fruit and raw.

Now the reason this will work better if it is Greek yogurt is because the Greek has less moisture.

Right?
