. . . my husband getting out of the car to tell me "I'd gone far enough and need to get off the tracks!!!!" Such a worry wort.
I'd thought those were just common crows on the tracks but maybe he's seen that Hitchcock movie .

. . !

:/

He didn't even know about the vultures he wasn't up on the hill w/ me. That was a good scary movie though.

We've had several big snowfalls this year 2 to 3 inches each time but they both melted! :weee

I took some pics of our up and down weather and did a couple entries on my blog with pics.

JoJo, you and LuLu certainly have lovely surroundings!

I realize that LuLu may be focused more on what is right under her beak but I'm curious. Do you have mountain views in all 4 directions from your home?

The foreground is lovely but the mountains are quite an eyeful!

Steve .

JoJo Beautiful property you have there! ;)

Is that an orchard I see in the back? It looks so nice with the trees all lined up like that. I hope to have an orchard like that someday.

It seems that so far we've all had some slack this winter :) .
We even have another day of SUNSHINE! I'm holding my breath...

It's fun seeing every-bodies pix!

Yes we have mountains in all directions. We are in a valley with much of the village on one or two streets along the mountain. We live further up one mountain on a plateau that used to be a hop farm and was divided into lots between 1/2 and 1 acre.

Greenthumb18 - yes we have around 35 fruit trees, lots of grapes, raspberries, blackberries, etc. We've only been here a few years but love all the fresh fruit.

thistlebloom - I love the contrast of your two pics. I like how is it the same pic but different places. very neat!

Oh, well actually Jojo, it's two different lakes. Guess I should have mentioned that. The scenes do have a similarity though, probably because the same person was behind the camera.

The first picture is Hayden Lake, and the second is Lake Pend Oreille.

Thistle',

Isn't that Bing Crosby out there in hip waders casting a fly into Hayden Lake?

If you look closely, you can see the smoke from his briar pipe.

Steve
