How's the reading going boggy b?

If you manage to put the book down for a moment perhaps you would like to explore this French site ( I think she is a Brit tho'). I have been exploring it & it is fascinating -- it is not all gardening by any means. I love that dishevelled French Garden Look. It has beautiful photos...!!

By the way I can't get through to that government site of yours -- it just doesn't work for me over here. Ours is, at least, very user-friendly -- even if,in the end, they say you can't import a particular product / seed etc......!!

Hi Hattie,

The readin' time is coming right along. Don't think I have ever read a book in which the author was so good at conveying their thoughts in such a deep, personal way and at the same time easy to understand and, in my case, relate to. And the pictures are "unreal"....just don't see things like that, over here........but I know one small piece of property that gonna be trying to "get there". LOL

I'll get back on that gov't website and see if it, maybe, has an "email to a friend" kinda feature.

Going to check out the new link, thanks

The look on that guy's face as that HUGE load of wood was being dumped (willy nilly) made me, actually laugh. I've worked as a tree cutter and can relate to that much wood and having to restack it.

:frow Good morning boggy b,

Problems on an allotment site; this is happening all the time at the moment:-

http://www.allotments-uk.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7751

*******& HERE are some up to date blogs from this site

Here's your vegetable fix for today........!! But this time it is from the US as I think you may be able to get some of the seeds you are after from them. Or perhaps you already belong.....???

Re your PM's
All that info about importing seeds into the US was very interesting! It is great to know that it is possible for certain seeds but I think they would have to come from a bona-fide supplier & not from an amateur gardener like me......unfortunately!

Good morning Hattie,

Thanks for the links. Have to say that I was disappointed in the thread on possible loss of the allotment, in that the thread was only 1 page long and news of the ongoing battle and what has been "won" and "lost" in that battle, has not been made known. Does sound like that situation is becoming all to commonplace.....I do hope that they do not lose.

Went to the "Heirloom Club Exchange Forum" from the other link. This is a good idea and I will be watching for it to grow. Seems to be in it's infancy as there has been no posts, to speak of. They have got a good site started, that's for sure.

Smiled, several times, yesterday, as I would check for your posts. When I didn't see any, I checked the time of your last post and saw that it was around 6:40 am....thought to myself, "maybe she is down on the allotment".....course I tend to forget the difference between night and day, from here to there.

Glad you got all the PM's and I think you are right in your assessment. Hahahahaha....told you I wasn't going to be "outdone" in the effort to get you that information. There's more than one to skin a cat. LOL
