Left on. most people chit them first, indoors, then plant outside
when the soil is warm enough.

Don;t know what to say now......except Thank You, it's been great fun. I like a long non-agressive thread with intelligent chat & a bit of humour......!! I have learnt so much here on TEG it is nice be able to show you a bit of the UK's contribution to gardening (let alone the rest of the world). I was lucky enough in my working life to travel & see many different areas of the world which enabled me to expand my horizons & knowledge on so many aspects of living. Now I have slowed down a lot physically I can still 'explore' on my laptop.......
