Good morning/Good night... ???

I have, at last, found a local allotmenteer; now you can have a look at the snow we have had this year (with more to come this week),

She gardens in Oxford which is about 25miles from me.

I'm feeling a lot better today -- at last.....:D

:) Hattie :)
This one's, definitely, gonna be a good read. I laughed several times while reading the first "page".

I'm sure glad to "hear" you say the words...."I'm feeling a lot better today"

WOW.....You really did get some snow. She has some really great pictures posted. I enjoy her "journal" but do wish she would leave "political" issues out of her garden blog and, maybe start a "side blog" for them to be devoted to.
I know that she sure has strong opinions on climate change and the World Bank, which most everyone does.....but didn't expect to see it in a gardening blog. Guess there is a first time for everything....or so I'm told.

Can't believe you're still having to deal with snow......but, one day closer to spring.

I don't trust the weather here to recognise SPRING !!! WE have had snow in May some years.......... :hit ........ not very often though !!

I knew you would like that last blog. :D

Hi Hattie,

I have noticed, in several blogs, pictures of piles of old tires at the back of allotments but I can't recall them being used in any way or mentioned in the entries.

I know a lot of people grow potatoes in them , piling them up as the plants grow, making very deep beds. Others fill them with quite hot compost then soil over the top to get a hot bed to grow melons under plastic tents.

You could always email them & ask............... :idunno
