I AM NOT ALONE!!!!!!

DH drives me crazy. He talks so loud on the cell phone to his buddies that I make him go in the garage, close the garage roll up door and then the house door. Course they are all deaf from too many LOUD concerts their entire lives.

He tells me I mumble. I don't.

He can't find anything and even non family friendly string of words doesn't help.

We lived in the Bay Area in our house for 17 years -he never figured out where anything was in the kitchen except the cereal boxes and the cutlery.

What you all said above is MY LIFE! And the state would have to freeze over before he'll even think about hearing aids.

I do believe some of it is selective hearing. I hate the blasting radio in his truck. And the TV. Sports are loud anyway but, when they can't hear. God awful!

TV commercials blow me out the door.
Me-"Will you please turn it down?"
DH-(oblivious to the blast) "It's these #$%^$ commercials! (fumbling for TV remote)
Me-"Well it if is the loud commercials, why do I have to tell you to turn it down every time a commercial comes on?"

Commercials have sound? I love my "mute" button. Every time a commercial comes on, it gets muted.

We have a DVR...but it says the tv has to be on to record anything. that makes no sense to me.
