I AM NOT ALONE!!!!!!
DH drives me crazy. He talks so loud on the cell phone to his buddies that I make him go in the garage, close the garage roll up door and then the house door. Course they are all deaf from too many LOUD concerts their entire lives.
He tells me I mumble. I don't.
He can't find anything and even non family friendly string of words doesn't help.
We lived in the Bay Area in our house for 17 years -he never figured out where anything was in the kitchen except the cereal boxes and the cutlery.
What you all said above is MY LIFE! And the state would have to freeze over before he'll even think about hearing aids.

I love my "mute" button. Every time a commercial comes on, it gets muted.
