Close here. Celsius makes it sound especially so at 3⁰ (38⁰f).
A week or two ago, I was thinking that the frost free season was definitely early. Haven't changed my mind but we have had a few hints of the normal. I have no plans as of now to change my schedule for 2026 seed starting. However, a cringe-worthy hot, dry Summer becomes more of a possibility with every passing week of Spring 2025.
The tiny seedlings of sweet corn and vining crops in the greenhouse must appreciate the plastic film and insulated north wall. They certainly have it warm in there during sunny afternoons. I have long regretted that I didn't put a larger exhaust fan in the east wall but being able to open the window and door on the west side means that I can keep the interior reasonably cool just by opening the fan cover. I have only run the fan on our one 80⁰f (27⁰C) afternoon.
