No measurable rain for 4 weeks — the Weather Service is predicting a 60-70 percent chance for the weekend!
So far in June, we have had a "trace" and this is after only 1 inch of rain for all of May. Lots of sunshine and warmth, there has been too much wind with gusts over 30mph just yesterday. Fire season showed up early. We haven't fallen back into a drought after adequate snowfall in higher elevations over the Winter but are officially "abnormally dry." Some relief at hand ...

Our temperature at 6pm was 29. I didn't check it earlier. I just nipped in and out drying my washing

It's rained a little more than an inch since last evening. As much as a sunny Saturday would be appreciated we really, really needed the moisture. The ground in parts was getting to be like concrete, and wild fires have been a concern for weeks. Nothing like a good soaking to freshen things up!
