i went out and warned Mom a while ago that the rains would be here, but she said she was going to stay out and get it done. it's warm out so i'm not worried about her catching a chill but if there is lightning i'll have to go out and reel her in...

No measurable rain for 4 weeks — the Weather Service is predicting a 60-70 percent chance for the weekend!

So far in June, we have had a "trace" and this is after only 1 inch of rain for all of May. Lots of sunshine and warmth, there has been too much wind with gusts over 30mph just yesterday. Fire season showed up early. We haven't fallen back into a drought after adequate snowfall in higher elevations over the Winter but are officially "abnormally dry." Some relief at hand ...

Our temperature at 6pm was 29. I didn't check it earlier. I just nipped in and out drying my washing
