BACK to summer heat and humidity! :somad < this just made my DR a little bit hotter! :gig

DR?

we were out for a bit this morning but it got too hot and humid for us. i was glad i could get the garlic lifted and helped Mom with one of her bags of mulch and she was done too. good thing i stopped as after that bag of mulch i was starting to get overheated.

looks like another hot day here (there should be a breeze) and the rains on the radar are not in our forecast until tomorrow afternoon through Tuesday night. based upon what it was like lifting garlic yesterday i don't think any gardens need watering.

Just checked the drought area map for Oregon.. Portland is in a severe drought. It’s a very dry summer since climate change it has been dryer in July thru September . In fact the state of Oregon has a new season map called
‘Wildfire Season’. We are in a higher danger zone and fire insurance rates are also higher.
:hugs
I've just checked into this thread. Is everything okay where you are?

According to the forecast it's 87.8 f. I'd say more into the nineties.

It's affecting Nancy's head plus she's having her season after her Overy saving operation.

She was let out earlier and my neighbour was giving her a nice fuss. Then she came running crying as if I'd left the home. Until I called her into the living room.

Bless her she was really panicking. She was still very tense so I gave her a little treat with coconut oil and some cbd oil to follow

got out early to check for tomato worms and weeding until it started raining. glad for the rains, we need them.

wasn't sure by the radar and direction of the front if we were going to get much from these rains, but more have come along so that is a help for sure.

Our temperature went to 89.6f now back to 87 again. For us it's bizarre fluctuations. We have had chilly days after out last hot weather now it's high temperatures again

My family another part of this country was 95f as we spoke, it might have been higher earlier today
