Yesterday was sunny and beautiful so we spent the day outside!That is something like our forecast, @Dahlia , except I doubt if "dumped on" would be an accurate description for the rain.
Our rainy day this week did give us a half inch, nearly. I checked the nearest Snotel and there had been a full inch of rain and it rained a couple of more hours. That was at 4700 feet. Down here it was continual through the day but never heavy.
Looking around at several Snotel stations was somewhat encouraging. Higher, along the continental divide, the stations were closer to seasonal normal normals. British Columbia Rockies looked good!
