H-51F. L 44F grey skies marine layer mist so thick you could cut it with a knife, and not a peep outside , zero movement, it is so quite & as still as a statue not even a breeze . A bit spooky really.
The slight defrost we had and then a hard deep freeze has turned all the side streets into craterous ice roads, the worst I've seen. Very hard to navigate. There was just so much snow this winter I guess it was bound to happen. Today they actually graded the ice covering the road leaving a 'snow bank' of ice chunks and a corduroy surface. But it's better than the deep craters. Counting down the days until we're above freezing for more than a day.
raining this morning but not very cold out there (now about 61F going up to about 66F) then back down to mid 30F overnight. coming Wed night down below freezing and a chance of some snow again (doesn't sound major but dunno for sure - but currently no plans to break out the shovels).
