The slight defrost we had and then a hard deep freeze has turned all the side streets into craterous ice roads, the worst I've seen. Very hard to navigate. There was just so much snow this winter I guess it was bound to happen. Today they actually graded the ice covering the road leaving a 'snow bank' of ice chunks and a corduroy surface. But it's better than the deep craters. Counting down the days until we're above freezing for more than a day.

raining this morning but not very cold out there (now about 61F going up to about 66F) then back down to mid 30F overnight. coming Wed night down below freezing and a chance of some snow again (doesn't sound major but dunno for sure - but currently no plans to break out the shovels).

It's good to see @pjn on TEG today.

The bad thunderstorms coming NE from Houston (@baymule ?) are sure banging at Central Tennessee. PJN must still have power.

It's windy this afternoon but the Weather Service says that Mother Nature whispered to them, "you ain't seen nothin yet." Tomorrow afternoon we may be swept away on the gusts!

if you have to go out it may be a challenge to stay upright and also hold on to your hat at the same time!

we may see the sunshine tomorrow for the first time in several days.

H-51F. L 44F grey skies marine layer mist so thick you could cut it with a knife, and not a peep outside , zero movement, it is so quite & as still as a statue not even a breeze . A bit spooky really.
Today, Sunday. We have had very similar to how you described. Thick grey completely covering the sky. I couldn't see the houses opposite this morning.

It doesn't say fog on the forecast but that's exactly what it looks to me.

It's saying that the temperature is feeling like 7c with humidity being at 98%
We are due rain again. And apparently 02 air pollution. Yeah right and my name is Henry
