Great job Dew and extra impressive that it is your 1st time sewing! I just pieced a simple block quilt and my corners are bugging me. And I have been sewing since my teens. A LONG time now. LOL. I love the color choices your DD made.

WHew!!!! That was harder than it should have been! This is a little quilt I'm making for my granddaughter's birthday.

Oh, I just Love that second one! It would be perfect for a baby gift. You are so talented and creative. Did you use a pattern for it? Please tell me you did, so that like Lesa, I will feel better. :fl

The first quilt I made I did not have a clue what I was doing. I just started sewing material together. This one is a printed pattern. But yes if I was making this by myself I would be using patterns. or templates!

Very impressive Dew! It's a beautiful quilt.

I was going to haul my machine out and do some sewing this winter, but, oops! Looks like I missed it!
I'll have to come back to this thread next winter and get a shot of inspiration! :)

:lol: I wish!!!! I'm thinking around 50 bucks . :hu I dont mind making things for people but I hate to over charge too. I want return customers.
