Mary. Yes that's a blue Rex rabbit. He's all grown up now. He has the softest fur I've ever felt on a rabbit. He feels like one of those plush rabbits you buy for the kids toys.

Masoud. Mine is culinary ginger; I guess that's why I never saw any flowers. I looked culinary ginger up and the flowers on it are tiny and would be easy to miss among the leaves.

There is an easy bloomer(flowering even now) called weeping blue ginger! It is a small plant 8" by 10" in a 5" pot. Here is a picture:
