Carol Dee: "Red, I sent you a P.M. earlier this week."
Smart Red: "And I sent you something. Be on the look-out Monday or Tuesday."

Thank you so much, @Carol Dee for the card and all. It wasn't necessary but much appreciated. I hope everything grows well for you. The books show them hardy to zone 3 so the cold shouldn't harm them. Overly wet ground might rot the crowns.

Right now, everything here is overly wet and anticipating more wet this evening. Sigh! Sometime later in the summer I'm going to be watching those storms miss us and wish I had this rainfall.

You make your own paper? I love to add bits of petals and leaves to the slush when I make paper. So lovely with nature's additions.

Thanks Red, they look to be doing very well. :) I will get photo to share when they are established. We are the same zone as you so they should do very well. I have always had bleeding heart. They just did not like the really hot dry summer followed be a VERY LONG, VERY COLD winter. (Neither did I!)
