Lost Patina Buttermilk question

Childhood is so short that every moment should be special rather than a race into adulthood. I had a student (11 YO) confide in me that his older brother made him watch X-rated movies because he didn't want to sit there alone.

I tried to get him to understand that his childhood was being stolen from him by the actions of his brother. Hopefully I gave him some courage and tools to say no or tell his grandparents. Stealing a childhood should be a crime punishable by time in jail. Once gone, there is no way to get it back that is mentally rational. It makes me so sad.

I need to back up and say the 9 year olds parents don't allow her to wear makeup to school, the reason she had it on for garden class she said was because she was giving herself a "spa" day at home and forgot about coming to class until it was too late to remove it. It's still my opinion that it shouldn't even be an option at home.
Go outside and play!

I'd have plastic surgery if I could afford it :hide. I would love to have my "girls" back where they belong. But since I'm poor in the money department God has made me rich in the sense of humor department. :celebrate

Plastic surgery for reasons is smart. I just don't get the vanity of it when most look like Dr. Frankenstein projects afterwards. Worst case was Farrah Fawcit-that was criminal....
