I was out, with DH, a while ago, while he was weed eating the dry sticks, from the yellow daisies. I used to plant Black Eyed Susan. So, I think I found what I think is the Rudbeckia. The leaves are similar to Plantain leaves, but on stems, rather than growing out of rosette at ground level.

Here is a view showing the seed stems coming out of the Plantain.

I found another weed I have been curious about. Anyone know what this is?

If you enlarge the photo you can see some small trumpet shaped pink flowers. They remind me of Malva blossoms. I'm not talking about the tiny blue ones on the Creeping Charlie, next to the weed in question.

In the first pictures are dewberries. They are fine eatin' for jelly or cobbler. They only last for a short time, so get to pickin'!

I don't know what this is either, it's all over my place. My horses and sheep graze it.

It looks to me like Sticky Geranium.

I suspect wild geranium as well. Another option might be Aconitum also known as aconite, monkshood, wolf's bane, leopard's bane, mousebane, women's bane, devil's helmet, Queen of all Poisons, or blue rocket. It looks a lot like my monk's hood plant.

The name, Sticky Geranium is a common name.
The botanical name is Geranium viscosissimum.

They grow all over the woods up here, but I don't know their range. I'm not sure why they're called sticky either... but sometimes I gather a few for a little windowsill bouquet.
