I've been harvesting asparagus for a little over a week, but of course that's from an established bed.
Today I put in 3 30' rows of okra and 4 30' rows of Blue Lake bush beens.
Last year I did about the same and the okra never got over 4" tall and then died out.
The beans were prolific in their production, I guess we'll see how it all transpires this season.

I have to ask you Dickiebird, since you eat all your meals at restaurants what do you do with all the veggies you raise?

Sell them and give some away.
I mostly just grow stuff to see it grow.
At Thanksgiving and Christmas we go to some friends place and everyone brings a dish and mine is mushroom soup and bean casserole.
Also with the first batch of beans I pick I get a ham shank and cook it with onions garlic and new potatoes, that I do eat at home.
Tomatoes, okra, basil and other herbs go to a local restaurants, beans, peppers and asparagus go to friends.
I use my mint in my iced tea.

I knew you couldn't grow a garden and not enjoy a few meals from it.
Sounds like you grow a lot!

I have okra up, better than last year when the crows dug it all up. but we have had nights down in the 40's for weeks and my okra is pouting and refusing to grow. I hope your okra does good for you!

No okra sprouting yet, but my beans are sticking their heads out.
Asparagus is still going great guns.

this year I planted Jimmy T and just for fun, Jing Orange. I also like Clemson Spineless.

They produce very well, and I mean "if you don't harvest every day they will get huge and too tough to eat" well.
