Can you eat 24 or 30ish poppers at one sitting? I can't , so I finish 'em up for breakfast!

USE LESS?????? :th:th:thAny suggestions? NO. NO suggestions on using less bacon. :plbb
Well just pick yourself up off the floor. :plbb Some of us try to eat a little healthy.

I just saw WR's picture again for making them in the oven. The peppers are halved with only a piece of bacon on top. So glad I saw that. I only got 12 peppers because they were jumbo size. But now they will be halves and there will be twice as much. So I'm very happy. About to start making them right now.

You are welcomed anytime. I think I'm going to like the halves better. That's plenty for an appetizer especially when you don't know how hot they will be. I just hope they come out good. :p

Next time I think I'll use the center cut bacon. I had to do a lot of trimming. But that's ok since I've saved those scraps.

I think 2 pieces of bacon is too much but for you seedcorn, but sure.

Harvested tomatoes for canning. Got 9 quarts, not a bad start, given that 95% of them are still green.

Also harvested another bowl of green beans (we'll process them tomorrow).

I have the oven at 350° and it seems kind of low to me. They've been in there about 30 minutes and bacon not crispy yet. How long are they supposed to take?

Kick the oven up to 375 degrees. Note: the bacon never gets crispy, just brown & cooked... you don't want to render all the fat out (like you're frying it).
