Grandparent bragging

Daughter's babysitter couldn't come today, her daughter had strep throat. So we babysat the two little ones. I am currently raising Cornish Cross chicks, I have 24 in a black horse water tub on the porch and 28 smaller chicks in the brooder. #3 closely watched me scraping up the pine shavings in the black tub. She kept saying chicken chicken chicken chicken...... she went to the toy kitchen and directly came back with a plastic egg-which she tossed in the tub with the chicks, still saying chicken chicken chicken....

@catjac1975 , I like the picture of grandpa and grandson. That my plan with Thomas hang out and do stuff with him as he is growing up. Just like my grandfathers did with me.

He grows more beautiful each day! He looks much older than that in the pic...also has a very intelligent look about him.

FIVE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! no way....

I love babies...their smell, their cuddliness, all of it! It took me years to stop swaying when I didn't even have a baby in my arms!

Oh my goodness Collector. I just fell in love so hard. That is the most beautiful precious baby I've seen in a long time.
