new yorker tomato

They are a small tomato, but that doesn't bother me for fresh eating. The determinate also works because it won't be long now and the first freeze will be taking out anything that hasn't had the good sense to die first.

Oh, and @seedcorn , I didn't see you in that tomato pic, so I'm skeptical...
 
Ok, mine aren’t staked just sprawling on straw on ground. They are loaded and seem to be ripening ALL at once. Great if I was wanting to can. The flavor is very good. I would think these would be a great variety for the north with a short growing season as these were direct seeded into the garden.

What I don’t like is that they seem to be a small tomato and determinants. Fun to try though.

The package does say they are determinants.

You are correct, I did know that before planting. Just re-affirmed why I don’t like determinants.
