Gotta share---So...my lawnmower repair guy sold us 2 used riding mowers this summer, a used John Deere and a used Toro. I was delighted! The first thing DH and I did was to knock the weeds down in our 3 acre north pasture by mowing in tandem. Since it was DREADFULLY hot and we both had lights we started our mowing at 8PM and were mowing in the dark and got it all done. I was SOOO happy that I had my Own riding mower to attach my tow wagon to to do jobs. I had it ONE MONTH, and it started running hard. I Immediately turned it off, pushed it in to store and called the repair guy. He picked it up and I thought I had broken it. He said that a bolt that had been glued (Locktight) had come loose and destroyed the motor....

Last Sunday afternoon the dogs start barking and he shows up with my Toro mower, again. He had found a replacement motor and replaced the old one!!!!!

No phone call, no text, nothing...didn't let me know ahead of time.
I have my Toro back!!!!!! Immediately I mowed behind the barn and started towing. I have been told to ONLY drive it for an hour at a time to keep it from overheating. I am delighted!!!!
As soon as I sell my truck we are buying a Utility tractor, probably later this month.
Btw, found a puppy. She is now 11wo, full blooded GS. The breeder showed me her father's passport from Romania, and told me that the mother's parents are both from Germany. He owns both parents. Her name is "Eva Janie Martel." The "Janie" is from my SIL (1954-1998, RIP), who shares her birthday, July 2nd, and the "Eva Martel" is from a fictional character is DH's books and a script. She is so bouncey that is hard to get an action photo, but I will try!
