Too many plants in the house to allow cool temperatures, plus DW gets cold easily... so we keep the winter temp at a constant 68 F. most of the time. When it gets below zero, we set the night temp to 65 F. In summer, we try to keep the house below 72 F., because of all the seed we are storing indoors.

Personally, I like to sleep in cooler temps... but I get out voted. ;)

Temp in our house depends upon which room. Even with central heat/air old house has zones.

I like a cool bed room. In summer, I can take heat as I enjoy a fan-reminds me of childhood.

Despite central heating, our house daytime temperatures vary by room as with Seedcorn. This helps with the budget. We do not spend time equally in all parts of the house despite its small size.

In the living room, the thermostat is set at 68-69° through the day. The kitchen is probably warmer but the master bedroom is about the same unless it's colder weather and I close it off through the day. There is a thermometer in there.

Nighttime temperature is consistent throughout the house because all inside doors are open. The thermostat is set at 61-62°. Parts of the house stay that temperature through winter days.

In Arkansas it was 78 in the summer and 72 in the winter. Down here it's 72 year around. The lower summer temp helps with the humidity inside the house.

Cane now that room mate is gone how do you like living alone ? I love it I turn TV on as soon as I get home for background noise
It's been a little weird, good - but weird. I realized that I've never actually lived in this house alone. So EVERYTHING is getting re-assessed. I spent the entire weekend - from the time I got home Friday until almost bed time Sunday - rearranging the den & decorating, cleaning out cabinets in the kitchen, cleaning my (now) spare bedroom and moving furniture in there to make a study, moving things out of my over-stuffed, over-crowded bedroom - just making breathing room. :weee
So it's good that I'm keeping the house cool with all that work going on. :D

I have a Bluetooth speaker in the den and play audio books or music while I work. If the TV is on I'm too tempted to take a break and sit down to watch a little... which becomes an hour..

Here you go, @canesisters .

We talkin summertime temperatures?? I kept the living room and one bedroom 74° and below even through one of the hottest days of my life, 107° in summer, 2018. It was cooler through the night although the air conditioner is turned off. DW likes the fan, I don't ... at least, I don't like it blowing on me ... nose gets all stuffy.
