I was wondering what was missing. Maybe it is NyBoy and his very individual sense of humor. He could come up with the most odd things, when he posted. Now, the Easy Garden, is almost flat. We need a new NyBoy, or we will need to dig up some of his previous treasures.

We love you and miss you NyBoy!!

There’s hardly a day goes by that I don’t think about him. I never knew how much I loved him until he was gone. One of my deepest regrets is that I never called him, never spoke on the phone, never told him what he meant to me. I just thought he’d always be here on TEG, full of life and funny stories.

He was full of life.

He brought all sorts of things into the family room. All sorts of goings on, problems, what he was proud of and pleased with. I think we must have brought something into his life.

I'm not 90 but we don't expect someone who could have been our son's age to suddenly be gone. He broadened our perspective on people, at least, mine. That's important.

I always worried about him with all of that smoking. Some of you may remember his kindness to many people. Of note was a women who's dog had died and he was so good to her. That's when I fell in love with him. Some of you may recall I told him he would be my second husband. Besides the obvious problems, like I still liked the one I have. And well, other issues. And a few of you women were going to wrestle me for him. He would have been a great Dad. A Dad he was to that nephew of his.

I think what we loved him so much for was his innocence. For instance; he bought a chainsaw, it got dull so he bought another one. He bought several, he didn't know he could buy a new chain. His nephew was delighted to take the "broken" chain saws off his hands. The things we take for granted, he just didn't know. Then he would tell on himself when he did something dumb and laugh good naturedly at himself. Sure miss him. :rainbowflower

Today I was weeding the flower beds and admiring the Hosta, he gushed about so much I bought two! Trying to remember the name. A bright yellow/green leaf with red stem. :rainbowflower (I will have to get a photo of it to show.) And remember the apple press ? He was going to chuck it in the pond in his frustration. It is my hubbies now. ( I had mentioned how much B. wanted one. ) He sent it to us! Just the way he was. All heart. :love
