i thought the exhaust port should go towards the back... :) sorry to hear about it being painful still, but bouncing around in a truck is probably not a good way to test it out. i have to admit i'm envious of the dual purpose flotation device.

well today was my first real big outing since coming home from the hospital, dw and i went to the grocery store.the doctor said to get plenty of exercise, we walked up and down every aisle started off good then noticed that i was wobbling a little and once at the checkout started to get discomfort in the butt guess i overdid it...
speaking of my butt healing up very well the top wound is almost healed up been taking my sitz baths 3 times a day, drinking boost eating plenty of fruits and veggies. been watching what i eat since dont wish to regain the weight i lost while my stay in the hospital.

hopefully when i go in for my doctor's appointment next wednesday she will say that my ass fissure is not going to need another surgery really dont want to be woke up every 4 hours and be poked and prodded...

time to take another nap...

@majorcatfish , congratulations on the weight loss!
Men ALWAYS lose weight and keep it off pretty easily.
If it Helps, DH and I are on vacation in CO. We are staying at a cabin a making almost all meals. Our snacks are fruit, and our meals are Real Food, bacon, eggs, salads, lunchmeat, cheese, trout, hamburgers, steak. :drool Sorry about the trout and the steak.
DH thinks he has lost weight after one week--we still have another week to go. I may have lost 2 pounds.
During the mandatory shut down for Covid, all of us were still working, atty DD was full pay, required to come in 2 days/week, 3 days/week no real work for almost 2 months. So, we started decluttering. It is now a brutal habit. We are throwing away clothes that have been sitting in the closet for Years, cleaning up the yard, tearing up the basement clutter, etc.
Finally, our church had a real service in July, and I noticed that our pastor had gained, like, 25 pounds, in 2 months!!
He was never a chubby guy.
So...being blithely innocent, I post on FB:
"Went to church and saw that people had formed a new relationship with their refrigerators. I Lost 5 pounds. WHAT does this MEAN?!?!?!?"
I thought everybody would read this as "Area 51", or "X Files."
Nope.
You would have thought that there was a new ice age.
When you are all healed up we need a new picture of your svelte self, with the bunny ears, of course.

@ducks4you I am a stress eater. i have gained a lot of what I had lost back on. Between Covid concerns, staying home more and not attending WW meetings. Now MIL is failing. She has been with us this past week as her building is now in day 5 of no power! Did I say STRESSED.?? Her memory is getting bad. She should NOT be alone. We MUST find her a new living arrangement. PRONTO..
