I was telling my chiropractors wife I believed masks helped and about viral loads and I thought being in a crowded room was worse and she said well I am going to blow your theory away and I said okay. She said last winter before we heard anything about COVID and people were sick, she thinks those people had COVID. Her husband treated many sick patients and never got sick and it is because of his immune system. I hope it was COVID and these people are right because I hear people saying they already had it before it was known, but anyway the chiropractor did not even get a cold or flu, so she may be right.

I also thought I had it in 2019 but Red Cross tests so NO to antigens. Tested 2 different times.

so far i've seen no evidence of early infections in the USoA that is backed up by blood work.

and @Rammy i really wish it were a hoax and that family and friends weren't being sickened and dying from it, but reality has quite a different take on your wishes or mine.

I agree, I see no evidence people had this and I worry they think they are safe, including my chiropractor. At one point the chiropractor office had gloves, masks hand sanitizer and his wife was out wiping door handles and then the next time I went back nothing. I am worried about people who say it will NEVER go away and they feel hopeless and they do not want to wear a mask or be careful forever. I still think it will get weaker and go away. You do not go to the doctor to get tested for Spanish Flu. You do not go get tested for Hong Kong flu, so why won't this go away? Other than it was probably released from a lab and who knows what that means. If I were not a medical transcriptionist and type medical reports then I would be one saying it was a hoax. I am very suspicious of everything medical, but people are really in the hospital and I have been typing reports for over 20 years and never heard of patients lying prone to breathe. The blood clotting is another thing, and some lose taste and smell, and some have stomach issues and others have respiratory issues, so is it even the same thing? I believe in being careful. I have no problem with 6 feet apart, make it more, fine with me, I will wear a mask, I stay home and out of crowds. I only go to the store when I need to. About released from a lab. When I raised greyhounds parvo came in the 1970s and I asked the vet where did it come from, and he said it was in a lab back east and all the dogs inside died and it escaped into the air. I said well how do the dogs get it since dogs were getting it on the farm and never left or exposed to a dog with parvo, and he said it was in the air and the way I understood it was if their immune system was stressed they could catch it even if another dog was not near them.

Hitting close to home. An old co-worker. Actually only in his mid 40's is just getting out of hospital , Covid and double pneumonia. Then today a friends son (again early 40's) in hospital with Covid and pneumonia . He is doing well on meds and oxygen so far. His wife works in a health care facility and had it. Tried not to spread it at home. Living on separate floors. She is devastated he caught it.

i hope they all recover quickly and with no further complications.

what i'm pretty certain about now is that many of the people who are getting it now and surviving probably would have died had they gotten it earlier this spring. so what has been learned since spring has at least given the medical community a chance to save more people. i just wish more people would be considerate of the medical community and at least try not to get infected to begin with so we could have yet more time to come up with more treatments and then the vaccines to get out there. then we can start getting back to more normal lives.

Pneumonia is the wild card. Even with pneumonia vaccines, more people have died with pneumonia than with Covid in 2020. (CDC stats). Which is why experts disagree as to how to handle Covid. News media has been silent as to pneumonia while hyping Covid as the end all infection. Here WAY to many cases of people testing positive for Covid, yet passed it to no one in family.
