Two huntings this week - now the pantry and the freezers are at a pretty good capacity.
Saturday is usually the best day for food rescue because supermarkets are closed on Sunday. That means whatever "best before" today and tomorrow will be thrown away on Monday. When I noticed these salmons this Monday, I didn't think they could sell every package before Saturday.
Maybe the employees had a busy day, till evening they didn't put the 50% discount stickers on. After confirming with the shop manager, I brought all food that due today or tomorrow to her and got everything labeled appropriately. Well, it's absolutely a win-win-win situation.

Another hunt earlier this week - I didn't realize earlier that even via rescuing those "best before today or tomorrow" food, we can get a good variety of ingredients from a discounter.

If there is anything that I would still complain about - the plastic packaging is overwhelming.

Before those packages go into a recycling bin, cutting them into smaller pieces can save a lot of space.
