The mustard shortage is real. My good friend who is from Paris, went home to visit her mother in August and requested some dijon to go with her steak at dinner. Her mom said they were out, so she asked her mom if she would please add mustard to the grocery shopping list. And her mom said you don't understand-- you can't buy it. The whole country is out of mustard. My friend was in shock.

Although I love the time that we spend together TODAY I am taking breaks in my 2nd story office (was a bedroom) moving ALL OF THE BINS that DD's moved OUT of the cubby hole and inTENDED to take home (last Spring) and have sat in my way most of THIS YEAR!!!!!!! :somad:somad:somad:rant:rant:rant:rant:rant
I have finally had my fill when I went to my walk in attic, where, 2 years ago, was organized, even WITH other people's stuff that I hadn't thrown away. I can't even walk into it. They have kept dumping in there all year.
There are no words that aren't blue to express my frustration.
I have MANY THINGS TO DO TODAY, but I find myself organizing attics, instead.

I think I learned that the Christmas decorations, paper, etc. ALL belong in my cubby hole, where nobody else wants to touch them.
Still haven't wrapped anything. Paperwork to be filed has now been completed and notarized, just needs to be filed.
I am at DH's office this afternoon. I spot cleaned stalls and prepped for this evening. Too wet to leave them out.
Should be wrapping by tomorrow. Extended family on Saturday the 17th, meaning presents wrapped and in bins and in the back of the truck (has a topper.)
DH, DD's and me, into bins or boxes for the 25th to their house.
Plan is to tend to the horses first, pack up the doggies, pack my Duck onesie which I haven't worn yet, change at their house, find a comfortable chair and blanket and let mimosas and presents magically appear, like there are fairies, or something.

The impossible happened. DD's crock pot handle cracked off, so she was using it without an ability to lift the lid.
I went down to my stash of crocks, where I have stored them after the crock pots died, and I found a replacement. All cleaned up she can fix the problem.
Saves abourt $8 + S&H.
Yeah it leaves a crock with a lid with a hole. Terrarrium?

Sad,.. but you have to admit, the concept of using wine bottles as thermometers is rather amusing.

I hope you feel better now *hic*.
