Marie sorry to hear about the washing machine . Would you believe I still have my old machine since 1970 . In all these years I have replaced the motor last spring that all. It’s well made not plastic all parts are metal .
My Kenmore 70 series machine washes like new…

Wow! You've got my 1980s washer, and even my 1973 refrigerator, beat! They don't build 'em like they used to!

I loved my old top loader with the ringer. Cleaner clothes and less ironing

Now that is vintage! My grandma had one of those.
We had one when I was a girl, you had to manually turn the handle to squeeze the water from your clothes.

Back in the days of only having an outside toilet. From what i can recall, my mother had only the mangle and used the old Belfast sink for washing. Hard but happy times
